Fun fact about the solar eclipse

Many cultures have varies interpretation about the solar eclipse and what it represents.

In West Africa, the Batammaliba people of Togo and Benin, believe in the legend that says the eclipse portrays human anger and fighting amongst the Sun and the Moon. This fighting is what they believe caused the solar eclipse. The Batammaliba’s first mothers, Puka Puka and Kuiyecoke, urged the villagers to demonstrate peace to the Sun and Moon to convince them to stop their brawl. During an eclipse, Batammaliba people make amends for old feuds and peacefully come together to encourage peace between the celestial bodies.   How nice!
